According to Taiwan's "Zhongshi Electronic News" on 18 August, Lin Quan, the "chief executive" of the Taiwan authorities, will report the "815" power outage next Monday to the "Legislative Yuan" project and prepare for inquiries. Lin Weizhou, secretary general of the Kuomintang "Legislative Yuan" caucus, said in an interview after the caucus meeting on the 18th that if Lin Quan's report does not meet the expectations of the people, it is not excluded that Lin Quan will be required to step down or even launch a "downfall."

On the 15th, the gas supply of "Zhongyou" on the island was interrupted for 10 minutes, resulting in a large jump in the six units of the Datan Power Plant. At 4:51 p.m., there was a major power outage in Taiwan, with 6.68 million households and more than half of the users without electricity, the most serious power outage in 18 years.

"Everyone must be responsible and step down!" Lin Weizhou pointed out that the "815" power outage affected the electricity consumption of 6 million households in Taiwan, and the scale was so large that it was rare in the world for 20 years. The incident was serious enough to bring down the Tsai authorities, and Lin Quan, Taiwan Electric Power, and cnysters involved in "PetroChina" were all responsible, but they blamed the two engineers for the blame, and the DPP authorities could not be indifferent.

Lin Weizhou said that the KUOMINTang will strictly review the energy policy of the Tsai authorities, and if Lin Quan reports that if he cannot promise that there will be no more systematic and large-scale power outages in the future, the answers put forward do not meet the expectations of the people, and it is not ruled out that he will launch a "cabinet downfall".

However, the initiation of the "cabinet" requires more than 1/3 of the "legislators" (113 seats) to sign, and the KMT currently has only 34 seats, which is insufficient. As for whether we have communicated with the People First Party and the "Power of the Times", Lin Weizhou said that we have contact and will continue to communicate. (Han Jing, Taiwan)
