His life is very legendary, his father went to Nanyang to make a living in the early years, and then settled in the Philippines and married there. Born in the Philippines in 1914, Ye Fei is of mixed Chinese and Filipino descent, learning English from his mother and Learning Chinese from his father.
When Ye Fei was 5 years old, the situation in the Philippines was turbulent, for the safety of his family, Ye Fei's father chose to return to China, and after returning to China, Ye Fei began to study in a private school, because he knew English, he was very smart, loved by his husband, and learned a lot of knowledge.
In 1926, Ye Fei followed his father to move to Xiamen, and when he was in middle school in Xiamen, he came into contact with Marxism and communist ideas, and since then he has made up his mind to save the country and save the people, so he joined the Communist Youth League at that time and specialized in underground work.
However, in 1929, Ye Fei was too young and lacked social experience, and was unfortunately arrested while carrying out activities in Fuzhou, and later successfully escaped under the rescue of local revolutionary forces. After this, Ye Fei felt that it was difficult to accomplish without armed forces, so he left Fujian and marched towards Jinggangshan.
After leaving Fujian, Ye Fei was never able to reach Jinggangshan due to layers of barriers, but while in Hunan he came into contact with Zhu De's large army, and after some conversation, Ye Fei was appointed commander of the guerrilla group in eastern Fujian, responsible for establishing a base area in the eastern Fujian region and developing an armed force.
Under such conditions, ye Fei, in order to preserve his strength, integrated several subordinate teams and established an independent division, and it was this unit that waged a three-year arduous struggle against the Kuomintang in Fujian.

On that day, Ye Fei did not wait for the comrades of the joint, but waited for a large number of Kuomintang agents, Ye Fei sensed that the situation was not right at the first time, but at this time it was already surrounded, and the agents rushed up, and easily controlled Ye Fei, and then the agent fired two shots at Ye Fei and left after searching himself.
Fortunately, the guerrillas who heard the news took Ye Fei away from the scene and found that Ye Fei was not dead, but had lost too much blood and was unconscious, so he secretly invited a doctor to operate on Ye Fei, and the operation was very successful.
After that, Ye Fei left the front line and recuperated in the base area, and after recuperating, he returned to Fujian again to carry out work.
In 1936, Ye Fei and Liu Ying, then secretary of the provincial party committee, had serious differences of opinion, and Ye Fei left in anger, but Liu Ying expelled Ye Fei from the party on the grounds that Ye Fei intended to split, and that night, Ye Fei was arrested by secret agents at home.
In the process of escaping, Ye Fei was shot in the leg, and he continued to run away in severe pain, and in a panic, he fled to a cliff. There was no way to escape the front, the Kuomintang agents in the rear had already caught up, and Ye Feixin jumped off the cliff.
Perhaps Ye Fei's firm faith and courage gave him endless strength, after jumping off the cliff, he only suffered some injuries, and there was no major obstacle, Ye Fei endured the pain and waited for the secret agents to leave and fled from under the cliff with difficulty, and after several days of persistence, he found the organization again.

In 1937, Ye Fei was appointed regimental commander after reorganizing several guerrilla groups in eastern Fujian into the New Fourth Army, responsible for anti-Japanese activities in northern Jiangsu. At this time, Ye Fei first came to the battlefield, but he was very sophisticated and could grasp the fighter very accurately.
During the Defense of Nanjing, Ye Fei sensed that the Shanghai garrison was empty, and immediately led his army to raid Shanghai, and successfully blew up the Japanese airfield, forcing the Japanese army to return to help. Subsequently, he used the tactic of encircling points to eliminate a large number of Japanese troops in the Battle of Cheqiao, and successfully opened the transportation connection between Suzhou and huaiyang.
After the founding of New China, Ye Fei was appointed as the second secretary of the Fujian Provincial CPC Committee, and under his leadership, Fujian Province vigorously developed agriculture, built transportation and water conservancy, and the development situation was very good. In 1955, Ye Fei was invited to participate in the ceremony, where Ye Fei was awarded the rank of general for his outstanding performance during the War of Resistance Against Japan. Until 1999, Ye Fei, who was already 85 years old, died in Beijing.
