At the time of graduation, HIT decided to select 6 outstanding undergraduate graduates from 2855 undergraduate graduates to stay in school, but because Yu Chuanlin was born and raised in a poor rural family, and was too far away from his hometown, he decided not to stay in school, and then returned to his hometown to work in enterprises and government functional departments for a period of time, and then was introduced to Dalian to work as a special talent.
In view of his great interest in scientific research, by chance, he participated in a scientific research conference on the introduction of technology promotion and energy conservation and environmental protection, and was invited by the Beijing Aerospace Propulsion Institute to the Tianjin Chemical Factory to inspect a failed project of the epoxychlorohydrin exhaust gas waste liquid incineration system undertaken by the institute. After the inspection, he proposed the reasons for the failure and made a revised plan, successfully operated, and continued to operate for 10 consecutive years, overcoming the national problems in this regard. It was this opportunity that led him to work harder on environmentally friendly technical research.

From 2007 to 2014, in order to overcome the technical problems of high concentration of salty organic waste liquid resource and environmental protection incineration produced by China's glyphosate production industry, Yu Chuanlin repeatedly went to the workshops of glyphosate manufacturers such as Weifang Runfeng, Yunnan Anyi, Hubei Taisheng Chemical Co., Ltd., inspected the production process of glyphosate and the production process of high concentration of salty organic waste liquid, collected the stock solution, and brought it back to the company for chemical and thermal analysis.
During the period, Yu Chuanlin consulted a large number of literature based on the chemical and thermal analysis data of the original solution brought back, and looked for how to incinerate the high phosphorus and high salt organic waste liquid. What are the useful ingredients in glyphosate waste? How to recover useful ingredients in high phosphorus and high salt organic waste liquid? How to recover the energy carried by the flue gas generated by incineration to ensure that the system can operate reliably and stably? After many tests and weifang Runfeng's first set of operating experience, it was found that the incineration of high-concentration salty organic waste liquid produced by glyphosate production industry can recover valuable sodium pyrophosphate, so for him, it has raised a new problem, but also a problem, that is, how to recover high-purity sodium pyrophosphate can be directly recycled?
He also immersed himself in research, worked hard, personally drew a number of sets of technical solutions, after analysis, comparison and personal repeated test verification, selected two furnaces and one pot of glyphosate mother liquor resource utilization system technical solution, and in 2014 in Yunnan Anyi Chemical industry has been successfully reliable, stable operation, recovery sodium pyrophosphate purity of up to 92.7%, can be directly recycled. This technology has become the company's main product, and has been promoted and applied in Hubei Taisheng Chemical Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Tianchuang Environmental Technology and other companies.
