Taizhou Huangyan Island Head, Baishi, Niujiaoqiu (Xia'an), Changkeng Ancient Road cycling donkey route planning
Yutou Township in the western part of Huangyan District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the southern foothills of the Cangshan Mountains, which is bordered by the sea to the north, Xianju to the west, Ningxi to the south, and Beiyang Town to the east. The interior of the region is mainly mountainous, with the beach village of The Yutou Township Government as the base point, the north is Wujian Mountain, the northwest is Budai Mountain, and the west is Baishi Mountain, and the Rouji Creek meanders and runs through it. If you stand on a high point in the mountains and look out, surrounded by distant mountains and green peaks. In the valley, the deep valley is quiet, the valley is often rugged and strange, sometimes there are dingdong springs, as for the size of the waterfall is countless, or roaring, imposing; or shallow chanting, graceful.
At present, the rural roads with the Yuyang Line and the Fengbai Line on the banks of the Rouji Creek as the main trunk roads connect the mountain villages of Baishi, Niujiaoqiu, Xia'an, Yangkeng, Zhoujialiao and Li'ao on the island with the beach village where Yutou Township is located. Villagers in the mountains can also have a more convenient contact channel with the outside world.
However, in the past, the villages in the mountains could only rely on steep steps, and the traffic was very inconvenient. The folk song that is widely spread in The local area of Yutou: "Ten mile long pit, ten mile yang pit, ten mile Maoping Gang, after the barbarian birth and yellow fat"! It is the most vivid portrayal.
It is also true that these ancient roads that ancestors have walked through in thousands of years of time and years have left the best carrier for us to remember time and predecessors today, which is worth our good taste and cherishing.
The big mountain at the head of the island, many places I have ridden in recent years, such as Wujian Mountain, Shangfeng, Gao Diamond, Damu Pit, Budai Pit, Yangkeng, Zhoujialiao, Liao, Baishi, Maoping, etc., there are many places that often ride. I have seen the Ten Mile Yang Pit and also carried a bicycle through the Ten Mile Maoping Gang. Only the Horn Hill and Xia'an, which are close to the head of the island and adjacent to the sanlian, have not been ridden. In order to see the mountains around the Cow Horn Hill, and in order to step on the Ten Mile Long Pit Ancient Road that leaves the footprints of the ancestors, the following cycling route planning is specially made.
The details are as follows:
Depart, first cycle to the head of The Island of Huangyan in Taizhou. You can visit the old streets of The Beach Village at the head of the island, visit the Taiwei Hall at the head of the island, and take a break. Then along the Yuyang Line, cross the Eagle Tsui Rock to reach the Big Collapse, and the wind factory at the Big Collapse turns into the Wind White Line and rides in the direction of White Rock. Turn left at the fork near Baishi, ride past Tian Gangtou, and continue to ride to Oxhorn Hill.
After arriving at Oxhorn Hill, you can carry a car from the mountain path of Oxhorn Hill to the Changkeng Ancient Road. You can also turn right at Oxhorn Hill, ride to Lower Eagle Ridge, and enter the Long Pit Trail from the mountain path next to the public toilet in Lower Eagle Ridge Village. You can also enter the Changkeng Trail from the mountain path in front of an old house under the new rural agglomeration point of Xia'an (we chose this route this time).
After carrying the car down from the Changkeng Ancient Road to the Sanlian at the top of the island (there is a waterfall in the middle of the Changkeng Ancient Road, it is worth a look), and then ride back from the Triptych.
Tips:
(1). This route is planned for a combination of donkey riding.
(2). Changkeng Ancient Road is often walked, the road conditions are very good, if you want to go to the ancient road, remember to go to see the waterfall in the middle of the ancient road.
