The newly upgraded campus card supports both physical, digital and NFC campus card services, which is the first time in the country that the campus card is available.

On the booths of each college, disinfectant paper towels, disposable medical masks and hand sanitizer were displayed with anti-epidemic supplies. A Peking University teacher said that new students must submit their applications through the "new student registration" system at least 7 days before registration. After obtaining the license, report to the school with a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours, a "Beijing Health Treasure" green code and a green itinerary code. The digital campus card and NFC campus card are also online, and the student's mobile phone has become a campus card, which can realize campus card functions such as access control, dining, consumption, and book lending. In the future, the smart service of the campus card will continue to be upgraded, and application scenarios such as school hospitals, gymnasiums, logistics services, and conference check-in will be developed successively.

According to statistics, Peking University admitted a total of 4402 undergraduate freshmen this year, of which 3003 undergraduate freshmen were admitted by the university headquarters, respectively, from 959 middle schools across the country; at the same time, 388 international students from 40 countries and regions overseas were admitted. The youngest of the new students was born in 2006 and just turned 15 this year. It is worth mentioning that in order to further consolidate the victorious achievements in poverty alleviation and better promote educational fairness, Peking University has increased the intensity of special policies, and the school headquarters has admitted a total of 442 students with rural household registration, accounting for 15.1% of students in the mainland, the highest in recent years.
