On the first day of the first round of the 2021 Yonex French Open, Hong Kong youngster Lee Cheuk-yew defeated third-seeded Danish Antonsen 2-0, which was a small underdog. On the second day of the competition, the seeded players defended their glory!

Women's Singles No. 4 seed An Xianying beat Huet 21-10, 21-9, and the two-set match ended in less than half an hour.
Women's Singles No. 1 seeds Akane Yamaguchi 21-19, 21-19 Kim Jae-eun
In the first set, the two sides held each other for most of the time, and in the middle of the game, Kim Jia-eun maintained a two-degree lead and the difference between the points widened to 4 points until 15 draws, and Kim Jia-eun did not bite when he was strong, and was won by Yamaguchi Akane with two points at 19-19. In the third set, the opening two clenched the score to 6-6, after which the big opening, no one could stop anyone, 3-0 staged each other, and finally Nishimoto Boxer locked up the victory with a wave of 6-0 to win 21-16 to advance to the 1/8 final. Thai genius Quinravut is out of the round of travel, which is very different from the performance on the Thomas Cup, the defense is gone, but Nishimoto boxing is also average.
