
Mercedes F1 driver Luis Hamilton led the third free practice lap in F1 Hungary with a time of 1 minute 16.826 seconds, completing a total of 20 laps of test runs. Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is in second place with a gap of 0.088 seconds and the true lap speed of the two teams will be known in tonight's qualifying.
Another Mercedes F1 driver, Walteri Bottas, is third with a gap of 0.229 seconds. Ferrari F1 drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc are 4th and 5th respectively, with a gap of more than 0.67 seconds to the lead driver.
McLaren F1 drivers Rando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo are 6th and 8th respectively, with a gap of about a second.
Red Bull driver Sergio Perez is in 7th place, 1.1 seconds away from lead driver Hamilton, and the gap with teammate Verstappen is still very obvious.
Alpine veteran drivers Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin driver Lance Stoll finished 9th and 10th respectively.
Haas F1 driver Mick Schumacher lost control of the wall during the practice session, raising a red flag. Little Red Bull rider Yuyi Kakuda became a model worker and completed a total of 25 laps of testing.
