Xiamen Lanqin Ancient House is the former residence of Weng Junming, a high-ranking Kuomintang official:

Born in Tainan, Taiwan, he joined the League at an early age.
In 1915, he graduated from Taipei Medical School.
In 1916, he moved to Xiamen and opened Junming Hospital.
In 1921, he was appointed director of the Zhejiang Camphor General Bureau.
In 1930, the "Xiamen Chinese Medical School" was established in Xiamen.
In 1938, Xiamen fell and moved to Hong Kong.
In 1940, the Kuomintang "Taiwan Party Department Preparatory Office" was established in Hong Kong.
In 1942, he opened a training course for Taiwan party affairs staff in the Organization Department of the Kuomintang Central Committee in Jiangxi, and served as the class teacher.
In 1943, he was appointed as the first chairman of the Taiwan Party Department of the Kuomintang.
In the same year, he was assassinated in Zhangzhou on November 18 at the age of 52.
During the Republic of China period, the owner of Lanqin Ancient House was Weng Junming, a patriotic anti-Japanese soldier and the first director of the Taiwan Party Department of the Kuomintang, who went to Xiamen in 1915 to open the Junmin Hospital, where he planned to assassinate Yuan Shikai with cholera bacteria. Her granddaughter Weng Qianyu is a famous singer in Taiwan, who has become popular throughout the country with songs such as "Dedication of Love" and "Prayer".
After the fall of Xiamen in 1938, Weng Junming left Xiamen with his wife and children, and the ancestral house was abandoned.
After the war, his granddaughter Weng Qianyu took back the ancient house with a real estate certificate.
In 2006, Cai Yaohui, a collector in Xiamen, purchased the ancestral house of the Weng family from Weng Junming's son Weng Bingrong and became the new owner of The Ancient House. At this time, the house is old, many wooden structures, doors and windows are mostly damaged, and the bricks and tiles are also defective.
In 2007, Mr. Cai Yaohui gathered several carpenters and craftsmen, which lasted seven years and cost 9 million yuan to repair the ancient house, and now the dilapidated old house has been transformed into a courtyard-style hotel, which has become a successful example of the protection of the old house and the maintenance of the house.

Lanqin Ancient House is a traditional two-in-three red brick mansion in southern Fujian, with red brick wood carvings and flying cornices. On both sides of the ancient gate, there is a pair of drum stones. There is a couplet on both sides of the stone gate pier: "Heirloom is only morality, and there should be gods and immortals." ”
A grass and stone sculpture is embedded on the left and right of the wall, and the pattern is vivid, symbolizing peace and auspiciousness.

In the ancient house, everywhere is brick carving, wood carving, stone carving, carving technology is exquisite, the content of the carving has a beautiful meaning, pinning good wishes, each door and window carving content is similar but not the same, preserved to this day, the face of the character is still clearly visible.
When the mansion was first built, the wood carved white stones used were all transported from Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, the red bricks and gold tiles were transported from Jiangxi, and the beams and wooden floors came from the upper reaches of the Minjiang River. After hundreds of years, the restored "Lanqin Ancient House" is still undiminished: the red tile wood is covered with bright and unworldly.
