In 1944, Qi Yulin had become the head of the colonel's operation team in the second guard group of the Kuomintang Southwest Governor's Office and a lieutenant colonel in the first section of the investigation department, all of which were obtained by relying on the blood of CCP members.
During the Liberation War, Qi Yulin's crimes were innumerable, among which he was more famous for leading a large number of spies to capture famous and famous figures, including Jiang Jie and Li Qinglin, and personally breaking Li Qinglin's leg with a tiger stool, and finally imprisoning all the people in Chongqing's slag cave.

After all, with many years of experience as a secret agent, Qi Yulin used his original name Song Yucheng after being arrested, falsely claiming that he was a farmer, and then being coerced by the Kuomintang to come to fight, and even successfully defrauded the trust of the People's Liberation Army.
At that time, the PLA troops had heavy combat tasks and needed to dispose of a large number of Kuomintang prisoners, so they did not carefully screen them, so they let this heinous agent deceive the "repatriation certificate of the captured personnel."
Qi Yulin then secretly returned to his hometown in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, found his cousin to inquire about the situation, learned that it was not safe in his hometown, and after thinking about it, he decided to leave his hometown and continue to live with a different identity.
However, due to his long-term work in the Kuomintang secret service organization, the people qi Yulin knew at this time had basically fled, or most of them, like him, needed to hide in the shadows and panic for a long time.
In the end, Qi Yulin decided to go to his family's former long-term worker Zhang Shisheng, falsely claiming that he used to do business in Chongqing, and returned to his hometown after liberation, the villagers were not waiting to see, and now homeless, hoping that Zhang Shisheng could help him settle down in Pingxiang.

After receiving the photos, the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau immediately carried out a visit and investigation work, successively visited a number of working comrades on the hidden front, and also let some captured Kuomintang agents in prisons carefully identify them, and finally determined that Song Yucheng was the Kuomintang ace agent Qi Yulin!
