Visual China 500px: How Did You Get Started with Photography?

YIEN: In the past, due to work reasons, it was necessary to shoot macro plant samples, both to shoot clearly and look good, so I began to study and explore little by little, from the macro lens selection and modification to upgrading the equipment, to later developing an independent macro photography system, taking into account the dual integration of science and art, aiming to show the unique beauty of small things.

YIEN: I'm a biology researcher, and I'm an amateur photographer and enthusiast! But adhering to my professional habits as a researcher, modifying equipment is basically the norm, so amateurism is not a problem.
