In 1966, Xia Meng starred in the movie "Spring Flowers" and announced that he would stop filming, and immigrated to Canada with her husband Lin Baocheng.
In 1979, Xia Meng was invited to attend the National Literary Congress, and then she founded "Blue Bird Film Production Co., Ltd." and supervised the production of three films, including "Running to the Fury Sea" starring Andy Lau and "Like Water Flowing Year" starring Sichenkova, which won numerous awards and were well received by the audience.
In August 2015, the "Midsummer Dream Film Festival: 65 Years of Xia Meng's Art" co-organized by the South China Federation of Filmmakers and Yindu Agency was launched at the Film Archive Cinema, and Xia Meng personally came to the cinema to meet the audience.
On October 30, 2016, Xia Meng, a goddess of a generation, passed away at the age of 83.
2. Chen Juanjuan
Chen Juanjuan was on the screen very early.
In 1933, when Chen Juanjuan was only 4 years old, she was favored by the film company to star in the movie "Winning Glory for the Country". She then shone on the big screen as a child star. When she was 6 years old, she was famous for playing the role of Xiao Cui in "The Lost Lamb" directed by Cai Chusheng. She can not only act, but also sing, and is known as China's Xiulan Temple.
In 1948, Chen Juanjuan came to Hong Kong and worked as an actress in film companies such as the Great Wall, starring in many films, but her influence was relatively limited. Later she changed her career to directing. In the 1970s, we saw a documentary called "Ten Thousand Purples and Thousands of Reds", and Chen Juanjuan was one of the directors. But unfortunately, shortly after filming "Ten Thousand Purples and Thousands of Reds", she died unexpectedly, at the age of 47.
And the reason for her death was that she died of heart shock caused by taking drugs by mistake, which is really regrettable.
3. Shi Hui
Shi Hui is the second princess of the "Three Princesses of the Great Wall". She has been versatile since childhood and is very intelligent.
In 1951, Shi Hui joined the Great Wall Film Company and soon became the head of Hua Dan, starring in a series of popular movies, and became a movie star with superb acting skills and outstanding appearance.
In 1954, when Shi Hui was filming the movie "Orchid Flower", she met and fell in love with Fu Qi, a young student of the Great Wall Company, and soon married. After marriage, the two raised eyebrows and loved each other.
Shi Hui's acting career is longer than Xia Meng's. Until 1988, she was still starring in movies.
But later, together with her husband Fu Qi, she also moved to Canada and lived a happy and peaceful life. Now that the goddess is 86 years old, the thing she insists on every day is to watch the news broadcast. She is the only one of the "Three Princesses of the Great Wall" who is alive.
4. Gong Qiuxia
Born in 1916, Gong Qiuxia starred in her first film, Parents and Children, in 1936. Then she became famous as the heroine Xiuxia in the movie "Pressing The Year money" written by Xia Yan and directed by Zhang Ishikawa. In 1937, she also co-starred in the movie "Four Thousand Gold" with Bai Yang, Shu Xiuwen and Huang Naishuang. She is known as "big sister" because she is good at playing middle-aged and elderly women.
In 1980, we also saw the role of Gong Qiuxia's tethered mother in the movie "Rouge".
On September 7, 2004, Gong Qiuxia died of a heart attack in Hong Kong. He died on December 31, 2012 at the age of 8
5. Li Yan

On October 7, 2007, Chen Sisi died at the age of 69 at Huadong Hospital in Shanghai.
