On September 28th, in order to commemorate the 2572nd anniversary of the birth of Confucius, a great thinker, politician, educator and founder of the Confucian school in China, all the teachers and students of the first grade of Lixian No. 1 Middle School and High School, some representatives of teachers and students of the third grade of the senior high school and members of the principal's office gathered at the edge of the ink washing pool, stood in front of the statue of the saint, and held the annual confucius sacrifice ceremony in the traditional way of the university.

Wang Beibei, member of the school party committee, school councilor, and grade director, read out the altar text, and he explained in detail Confucius's thought and spirit: the idea of "benevolent people love people" is the core of Confucius's Confucian philosophy and is based on the logic that the value of human life is above everything; "teaching without class" is the overview of Confucius's educational thought, which includes Confucius's lifelong educational philosophy and pursuit; "for the government and morality" embodies Confucius's people-oriented ruling concept, the governing strategy of ruling the country with ethics, and the employment standard of both ability and political integrity.

He stressed that today's commemorative activities are to express our nostalgia and admiration for this great sage, our understanding of Confucian culture and the responsibility of inheriting the past and opening up the future, "the former philosophy flows in the wind, the new style of the day", we must strive to enhance the cultural taste of the school, improve the moral customs of the campus, build a harmonious campus, create an atmosphere of respect for teachers and re-education, and cultivate a middle school with great morality and unremitting self-improvement. Let us learn from the spiritual wealth of Confucius, inherit the excellent national spirit, carry forward the core values of socialism, and better build a beautiful middle school that everyone shines in, and present a gift to the 120th anniversary of the founding of the school!
Zeng Zhaowei, executive vice president of the school, presided over the ceremony. He stressed that Confucianism is profound and all-encompassing, and to commemorate Confucius is to express our reverence for our ancestors, the traceability of culture, respect for life and expectations for the future. He quoted an inscription in the gallery of the university's ink culture couplet "Eight hundred miles of autumn water cave court, the source of this is near; two thousand years of beauty and herbs, who will come with the pen?"
