According to CNN, Stephanie Grisham, who served as the White House press secretary during the former President Trump administration, Melania Trump's chief of staff and the communications director of the East Wing of the White House, wrote a new book called "I'll Take Your Questions Now". In the book, she describes her previous working time at the White House and exposes the Trump administration's culture of lies.

In the book, Grisham details some of Trump's interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the Group of Twenty (G20) summit in Japan in 2019, she wrote, Trump had told Putin that he would take a tougher stance towards Putin when the media camera was focused on them.
In the book, Trump told Putin on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan, "Well, I need to show a little tough on you in a matter of minutes." But it's for the sake of taking pictures, and when they're gone, we'll talk. You know. ”

Grisham also revealed that Trump is grumpy and prone to anger, and that she herself is often targeted. In the book, she describes Trump's actions as "terrible."
Grisham wrote, "When I started to see him lose his temper not just for impact or media footage, I began to regret my decision to go to the West Wing of the White House. She said much of Trump's anger is often directed at White House counsel Pat Cipollone, "who doesn't like them telling him that what he wants to do is immoral or illegal." So he would yell at them. But he usually listens. Then yell at them. ”
Grisham also detailed the turbulent period in the White House after Trump's extramarital affair with star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal came to light, outlining the outrage of former U.S. First Lady Melania and her efforts to distance her husband. The public humiliation, Grisham writes, turned Melania into a bold first lady who seemed to be "free to do whatever she wanted or didn't want to do."

In a statement to CNN, Trump commented on the new book, saying: "It's bad that despicable publishers continue to report on this very boring garbage thing." We're completely used to the MAGA campaign. Someday in the near future, we will let our voices return and be treated fairly by the media. ”
Liz Harrington, a spokesman for Trump, added, "This book is yet another sad attempt to use the (former) president to make money and sell lies about the Trump family." ”
Melania's office blamed Grisham in a statement, saying "the intent behind the book is obvious." "It was an attempt by her (Grisham) to save her image after her poor performance as press secretary, failed relationships, and unprofessional performance in the White House," the statement said. Through dishonesty and betrayal, she tried to gain fame and money at the expense of Mrs. Trump. (Edit: HHJ)
