He said that it will speed up the construction of a modern economic system, deepen reform and opening up, continuously improve the radiation level of South Asia and Southeast Asia, increase the protection of dianchi lake and other plateau lakes, and guard the green waters and green mountains of colorful Yunnan, so that the ecological high value and development of high quality go hand in hand.

Now, after serving as governor of Fujian Province for 1 year, Wang Ning has taken up his new post across provinces, succeeding Ruan Chengfa as secretary of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee.

At the meeting at that time, Wang Ning said that Fuzhou is the place where General Secretary Xi Jinping has worked and lived for a long time, with excellent traditions and unique advantages. "I am deeply honored and responsible for coming to Fuzhou to work."
He said that he would "do a good job in the leading body, lead the team well, cherish and continue to consolidate the good momentum of entrepreneurship that has already emerged in the cadre contingent of the whole city, not slackening, not relaxing, rolling up the sleeves and working hard."
Soon after Wang Ning took office as secretary of the new Fuzhou Municipal CPC Committee, he published an article entitled "Promoting the Comprehensive and Strict Management of the Party to Develop in Depth and Accelerating the Construction of a Blessed Prefecture with the Strength of the Whole City."
In the article, he wrote that comprehensively and strictly administering the party is always on the road. "Pay attention to grasping the leading body and leading the team, adhere to the front-line inspection and positive incentives, resolutely promote and use cadres who want to be officers, can be officers, and accomplish things, and make timely adjustments to cadres who do not want to be officers and do not take responsibility."

According to public information, Ruan Chengfa has worked in Hubei for a long time, serving as a member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, and went to Yunnan across provinces at the end of 2016, and later served as the governor of Yunnan Province.
In November 2020, Ruan Chengfa assumed the post of secretary of the new Yunnan Provincial Party Committee, stepping down less than a year later.
