Holiday weather conditions
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Observatory, the New Year's Day holiday is dominated by sunny days and cloudy weather, with the lowest temperature of -2 °C to 2 °C and the maximum temperature of 8 °C to 12 °C. During the period, mountainous areas, bridges, waterfront cliffs are easy to freeze, before driving, please understand the road conditions in advance.
Traffic flow and peak hour forecasting
In anticipation of the New Year's Day holiday, public travel is mainly based on short- and medium-distance self-driving trips in the province.
On December 31 (the day before the holiday), it is expected that the traffic flow will increase significantly between 16:00 and 21:00, and the traffic at the city's import and export toll stations will surge, and the road sections near the toll stations are more likely to slow down.
On January 1, 2021 (New Year's Day), the forecast peak period is mainly concentrated between 9:00 and 11:00 and 14:00 to 16:00.
On January 2, the traffic dropped slightly from the previous day, and the short- and medium-distance travel vehicles were still relatively concentrated.
During the peak period of the return journey on January 3, the return peak is easy to form between 15:00 and 18:00, and the traffic volume of the highway in and out of the city will also increase significantly.
