This morning, the 18th "China Optics Valley" International Optoelectronics Expo and Forum opened in Wuhan, more than 300 enterprises at home and abroad such as China Xinke, Huawei, Oracle, Canon Optics and so on gathered in optics valley, and the expo set a number of "first" records. At the meeting, it was also revealed that Wuhan laser products have a market share of more than 50%, and the output value of the optical industry chain in Hubei Province accounts for more than 40% of the country.
With the slogan of "F5G Leads Hundreds of Industries and Promotes New Machines", this year's Optical Expo plans to set up three theme exhibition areas of optical communication and F5G communication, laser and intelligent manufacturing, optics and precision optics, with an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters.
At the scene, a large number of star enterprises in East Lake Science City and innovation platforms such as Optics Valley Laboratory and Wuhan National Research Center for Optoelectronics were unveiled for the first time. China Xinke showcased solutions such as smart home and smart park; Changfei brought products with 10 major themes such as optical fiber communication, industrial laser, and optical fiber sensing; optical valley laboratory's "electronic nose" system, wireless passive gas sensor chip and other achievements were concentrated; the National Information Optoelectronics Innovation Center concentrated on displaying multi-channel optical filters, near-infrared single photon detection modules, 30GHz light intensity modulators and other new optical device products.
This year's OPTICAL Expo is also the first large-scale exhibition focusing on the theme of F5G all-optical communication in China, and a number of leading enterprises have brought the latest F5G solutions. Huawei set up the first large-scale exhibition area of 360 square meters, and F5G solutions for 15 industries, including power, oil and gas, mines, and airports, were all unveiled. China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, China Radio and Television, China Tower and other operators also organized delegations to participate in the exhibition.
On the same day, there were a number of international optoelectronic leading enterprises such as Oracle, Canon Optics, Seth, Oxford Instruments, Andto Seiki, etc. Appeared in a concentrated manner, and the Russian Laser Association organized member companies to collectively participate in the exhibition in Han for the first time, and the number of internationally renowned enterprises participating in the exhibition doubled compared with last year.
The signing volume of this year's Guangbo has reached a new high in the previous Optical Expo, and 27 major projects such as Wuhan R&D and Manufacturing Base of Pentium Laser Intelligent Equipment, R&D and Production Base of Optical Ju Filter, and Wuhan Institute of Quantum Technology have been signed and settled in Optics Valley, covering laser, semiconductor, artificial intelligence, quantum information and other subdivisions, with a total of 30.6 billion yuan. The conference also held 1 theme summit forum, 3 industrial exchange summits, 18 thematic technical conferences, more than 300 keynote speeches and 4 concurrent activities at the same time. Academicians and experts such as Tan Jianrong, Wu Hequan, Liu Yunjie, and Hong Minghui made keynote speeches on industrial digital transformation, development of optical communication industry, optical fiber sensing technology outlook, F5G gigabit optical network and new infrastructure and optical basic technology research.
After more than 30 years of chasing the core, Optics Valley has produced a series of major cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements such as the country's first optical fiber, the largest power fiber laser in China, and the world's first 128-layer three-dimensional flash memory chip. Optics Valley has gathered more than 1,000 optoelectronic information enterprises, cultivated the world's largest optical fiber and cable R & D and production base, the country's largest R & D and production base of optoelectronic devices and equipment, the country's largest and most technologically advanced small and medium-sized display panel base, becoming an important business card representing China's optoelectronic information industry to participate in global competition.
