Since the beginning of this year, the Zhaoyingang District and Houshigang District of Zhangzhou Development Zone in Fujian Province (referred to as Zhangzhou Port) have actively played the role of ports in order to ensure food security and regional grain supply, build a solid national food security defense line. From January to April, the Zhaoyinggang District of Zhangzhou Development Zone completed grain throughput of 920,000 tons, an increase of 46% year-on-year, of which barley increased by 342% year-on-year, soybeans increased by 128% year-on-year, wheat increased by 100% year-on-year, rapeseed increased by 97%, grain dredging was 830,000 tons; Houshigang District completed grain throughput of 197,600 tons, an increase of 1208.86% year-on-year, and grain dredging was 266,300 tons.

Zhaoyin Port District is the largest grain transit port in Fujian Province, the first batch of designated ports for imported grain in the country, the first batch of national grain modern logistics construction demonstration units, and houshigang District is the largest bulk cargo berth in Xiamen Bay. Since the beginning of this year, Zhangzhou Port has taken the grasp of the market as the core, connected to Liaogang In the north and Shantou in the south, and has continued to strengthen coordination with the units in the china merchants port system, stabilized and expanded the basic plate of the grain market, made the main business of bigger, stronger, and better grain, and promoted the growth of grain throughput.

Since the beginning of this year, with the strong support of the Xiamen Port Administration, Zhangzhou Port has actively played the role of node radiation of grain logistics channels, and jointly made a fuss with the Zhangzhou Depot of Nanchang Road Bureau in the logistics industry chain of "shipping - port - railway - enterprise", not only providing customers with smaller cargo damage difference, less logistics costs, more transportation time and more valuable services in the form of sea-rail intermodal transport. It also extended the port grain radiation to the northern Fujian, gannan and Jiedong regions of the province, and signed a bulk grain fixed-line liner agreement with Jinzhou Port, Yingkou Port, Dalian Port and large bulk grain ship companies to jointly collect cargo allocation cabins for customers, improve unloading efficiency, stabilize grain supply channels, and stabilize the north grain south transportation channel. In addition, according to customer needs, we have also formulated integrated logistics programs such as "scattered water, scattered water, water and iron" to enrich the mode of grain logistics and transportation and effectively reduce the comprehensive cost.

In the next step, Zhangzhou Port will continue to take the guarantee of regional food security supply as its own responsibility, take serving national food security as the core, continue to be a good grain "porter", and contribute to the regional economic development. (Guo Zhimin, Xu Xiaoyan)
