The delegates attending the meeting used secret ballot to elect Li Chun as the mayor of Sanming Municipal People's Government.
The only female mayor in Fujian

In August 2016, Li Chun was appointed vice mayor of Fuzhou Municipal Government until July this year, when he was transferred to the deputy secretary of the Sanming Municipal Party Committee.
