author:Southern Metropolis Daily

A few days ago, foreign media quoted sources as saying that Liu Qing, co-founder and president of Didi, plans to leave office, and some executives who joined Didi with Liu Qing have contacted industry insiders and are seeking new opportunities. In response, Didi official micro responded: "Didi is currently actively cooperating with the network security review, Reuters rumors about Didi's management changes are false information, and we strongly condemn and reserve the right to take all legal measures to pursue its infringement liability for repeated times by some media against Didi's malicious rumors." ”

At the end of June, Didi Chuxing was listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and was later launched by the Cyber Security Review Office due to data security and other issues. On July 9, 25 apps, including "Didi Enterprise Edition", were removed from the shelves due to serious violations of laws and regulations in collecting and using personal information, and didi Chuxing App suspended new user registration. On July 16, the Cyberspace Administration of China and seven other departments jointly entered Didi Chuxing Technology Co., Ltd. to carry out a network security review.

Since then, there have been continuous market rumors about "Didi privatization", "Didi transferring data rights to third parties, introducing major shareholders and delisting", "changes in executive personnel", "Beijing government coordinating enterprises to invest in Didi", and other market rumors, which Didi officials have debunked.

In August, it was rumored that Didi co-founder and chairman Cheng Wei, co-founder and president Liu Qing, and senior vice president of international business Zhu Jingshi were briefing on the regulatory investigation, which would lead to personnel changes at Didi. Later, the official response said: It is actively cooperating with the cybersecurity review, and the rumors about the company's management changes in the market are false information.
