The Baoji-Lanzhou high-speed railway will open for operation on July 9, marking the full integration of China's northwest region into the national high-speed railway network. The railway department began selling tickets for Baolan high-speed rail related trains at 16:00 on July 6, including G1912/3 (Shanghai Hongqiao to Lanzhou West) and G1874/5 (Hangzhou East to Lanzhou West) high-speed rail tickets.

The Baoji-Lanzhou high-speed railway runs from Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, and passes through Tianshui City, Qin'an County, Tongwei County and Dingxi City in Gansu Province to Lanzhou City. With a total length of 401 kilometers, it has 8 stations including Baoji South, Tianshui South, Qin'an, Tongwei, Dingbeibei and Lanzhou West, with an operating speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
