The immeasurable mountains in Nanjian County, Dali, become "out of place" every winter. Every year in early December, the winter cherry blossoms of the Cherry Blossom Valley of The Infinite Mountain bloom in the tea mountains, and the cherry blossoms are gorgeous, and the large cherry blossom forest and the psychedelic morning fog form a charming wonderland.
The Cherry Blossom Valley of Mt. Wuliang is originally a tea garden, and several cherry blossoms grow by chance in the tea garden. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the tea garden owners find it beautiful and breed a large number of cherry blossom seedlings. A few years later, these cherry blossom trees not only bring shade to the tea plants in the summer, but also bring visitors a beautiful view of the winter.
Huadian Dam: Hike in the middle of the sea of flowers
Between spring and summer, Huadian Dam, located in the Cangshan Mountains, is filled with pink horse cherry blossoms, stretching for more than 20 miles and merging into a sea of flowers. Strolling through it, the middle of the sea of pink flowers is mixed with other colors such as white bean flowers and peony flowers, which are colorful and magnificent.
Huadian Dam hiking is 40 kilometers, there are two routes to choose from, from Xizhou into Zhoucheng out, or reverse crossing, ordinary physical strength can be completed in 2 days.
The first day from Xizhou, walk about 20 kilometers, the road is relatively flat and not difficult, you can enjoy the lace along the way to take pictures, overnight stay in the only supply point medicinal material factory; the next day from the medicinal material factory through Xiaohuadian Dam to Zhoucheng, along the way the scenery is particularly beautiful, the mountains are full of alpine rhododendrons and lantana.
Woodpecker: A flower-studded Yi costume
Located between the ancient city of Weishan and Dali, Woodpecker is a simple Yi village hidden deep in the mountains. As a pristine Yi village, the most attractive thing about woodpecker is the gorgeous costumes of local women, and the dressed woodpecker women are full of flowers, which can be described as "spring full of garden".
According to legend, the Yi costumes of Mulang are the legacy of the Court of Nanzhao, and the Yi girls of Mulang must prepare more than 20 clothes, more than 30 skirts, and dozens of pairs of embroidered shoes before marriage, almost all of which are from the hands of their mothers, and the women of Mulang spend almost their entire lives in flying needles.
In addition to the stunning costumes of the Yi people, the song also has a unique charm. Locals call the song a stepping song, Yi called "Ak", every wedding and funeral, housewarming, birthday celebration feast, lively temple fair, there is always a song.
Jizu Mountain: the birthplace of Zen Buddhism
Located east of the Erhai Sea, Jizu Mountain is named after its shape like a chicken foot. Legend has it that this is the sermon of Shakyamuni's eldest disciple, Gaya Bodhisattva, and the birthplace of Zen Buddhism. Every year, many Buddhist devotees come on pilgrimage, from the temple at the foot of the mountain to the golden summit.
Jinding Temple is the tallest temple in Jizu Mountain, and inside the temple stands a 13-story hollow square brick pagoda with dense eaves, the Prying Tower, which is the tallest building in the mountain, but unfortunately in recent years, it is not allowed to climb the tower. When the weather is good, you can see the Cangshan Erhai Sea in the distance at the Golden Dome Temple.

Peach Creek Valley: An escaped tea garden in the arms of Cangshan Mountain
Peach Creek Valley is located on The Little Cen Peak in the Nineteen Peaks of Cangshan Mountain, named after the clear Peach Creek in the valley. Here are planted hundreds of acres of Cangshan snow tea more than 50 years old, visitors can not only quietly taste tea in the Moxu Tea Room in the valley, but also experience tea picking and tea making activities from March to October every year.
Peach Creek Valley is adjacent to Chongsheng Temple, and from the window of the tea room, you can overlook the three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and the ancient city. Walk up the hill for 15 minutes along the path on the edge of the tea plantation to reach an elegant waterfall with crystal clear water and a refreshing sip.
