On July 18, Mr. Chen, who operates frozen food in Pengjiang District, Jiangmen City, received a "procurement" call, the other party claimed to be the Pengjiang District Fire Rescue Brigade, and now needs to purchase 105 boxes of canned food, and at the same time sent a picture of "braised beef" canned to Mr. Chen, and stressed that 800 yuan per box was received on the same day. Mr. Chen said that there was no stock, and the other party asked Mr. Chen to add the WeChat of the brand's canned beef "agent". The "agent" said on WeChat that the total payment was 72975 yuan, and the payment was delivered immediately.
Mr. Chen transferred the payment, and the "agent" sent Mr. Chen a photo of the canned truck. In the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Chen found that the "purchaser" had deleted his WeChat, immediately realized that he had been deceived, and then reported to the police.
The Pengjiang District Fire Rescue Brigade reminded that the fire department will not entrust a third party to sell materials in any form, and if it encounters such a situation, it should immediately call the police.
