On the afternoon of April 7th, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of nantong municipal party committee and the municipal foreign affairs office, the propaganda department of Chongchuan District Party Committee (Civilization Office), the Party Working Committee of Zhongxiu Street and the office undertook the "Love Nantong" Sino-foreign cultural exchange activity of "Poems Written for Spring" was held on the south bank of the Tonglu Canal. From the United States, Russia, Japan, Ukraine and other 10 countries, nearly 20 foreign friends in Tongtong enjoyed the beauty of spring, praised Nantong celebrities, talked about the protection of the Yangtze River, tasted traditional tea, so that different cultures intertwined and collided in the spring mood of the garden, boosting the "culture to the sea" and making the Jianghai culture shine.
At the beginning of the event, a group of "Ladies dressed in Tang Costumes" kicked off the event with a graceful dance "Canal Exploration", leading the guests to appreciate the atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty. Sitting under the stage, the table is the West Pavilion shortbread, the qipao catwalk in front of you, the blue waves in the distance, foreign friends who love Jianghai culture gathered together to enjoy a visual event full of Jianghai charm and feel the river wind and sea rhyme in traditional culture. In the "Beautiful Scenery" link, the "foreigners" shared their hometown rivers and led the guests to appreciate the charm of exotic water culture; in the "Ode to Celebrities" link, poetry lovers recited "Into Zhang Xiao", showing Mr. Zhang Xiao's hard work and life of industrial salvation; in the "Tea Tasting" link, tea artists and guqin performers cooperated with each other, inviting foreign friends to taste the aroma of tea, spring scenery and river rhyme in the melodious sound of guqin... Foreign friends also recited poems with Chinese and drew kites accompanied by the "aerial symphony" of plate harrier kites, and the atmosphere was warm.
"I am Ukrainian, I came to Jiangsu Shipping Vocational and Technical College in 2018 to study, and I love Nantong." Li Zhilan, the Ukrainian girl who is also the English host of this event, said so. At the invitation of the host, the "foreigners" came to the stage one after another and sent blessings to Nantong in their native language, wishing Nantong a better future.
In this activity, Zhongxiu Street presented the Jianghai culture with local characteristics to foreign friends in a unique way, showing the fine tradition of the sons and daughters of Jianghai and the spirit of self-improvement, cultivating cultural self-confidence, and jointly greeting the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
