On November 26, 1999, Zhu Changchang, a "Falungong" practitioner in Zhanggezhuang Village, Qingta Township, Renqiu City, Hebei Province, killed his parents with a hammer and scissors. Zhu Changchang said that he killed his parents in order to make them ascend to heaven and enjoy the blessings. Early that morning, Zhu Changchang grabbed a hammer on the windowsill and cruelly smashed it on the head of his elderly father. After hearing the screams, the mother came out of the house to take a look, and was frightened to shout and stop her son. At this time, Zhu Changchang picked up the scissors next to him and stabbed at his mother desperately. The elderly mother struggled weakly and eventually collapsed in a pool of blood.

On October 30, 2003, a Dutch-Chinese "Falungong" practitioner, Longlong, not only killed Joosst Vastenhouw, a 22-year-old Alphen Aan Den Rijn youth living in the same house, but also chopped up his body and fried it in a pan, fried it in oil, and baked it in a stove. Prosecutors called it "an extremely rare event in Dutch history" in court.
