In late August, Zhong Lan (pseudonym), who was working at home, suddenly fell into a coma, and after being rushed to the local hospital, she was found to be a meningioma and a brain hernia, and her condition was extremely critical, and there was no significant improvement after surgical treatment. Her husband, Song Yi (not her real name), worries about her illness and huge medical bills.

The misfortune is that after Zhong Lan was admitted to the hospital for seven or eight days, Song Yi accidentally fell from a high altitude, resulting in many serious injuries throughout the body, sudden respiratory arrest during the treatment period, and then severe ischemic hypoxic encephalopathy.

In early September, the guangxi branch expert group of the National Brain Injury Accusation Center clinically determined that both husband and wife were in a state of brain death.

It is understood that Song Yi and his wife have been married for more than 20 years and have 3 children, the oldest is 19 years old, and the youngest is only 13 years old. In the midst of this great grief, the families of the two men decided to voluntarily donate their loved ones' useful organs and tissues free of charge. A few days later, witnessed by the Red Cross, the husband and wife successfully completed organ donation after their deaths.
