But where did Hongmeng come from?
The Tao Te Ching says, "The Tao is born one, and the tao is born two." From the "Tao" was born the chaotic yuan qi of Hongmeng, and then there was Pangu born in it, and after awakening, the two qi of Qing turbidity were separated into heaven and earth- the two qi of Qing yun became yin and yang, which is the "two of life".
As for the Tao, it is not something that words can describe, and this is what the Tao Te Ching says at the beginning: "The Tao is the Tao, the Tao is very Tao." (If the Word can be made clear, it is not the Eternal Word.) Therefore, some people call it "nameless avenue" or "heavenly way".
In the "Fengshen Yanyi", this Dao has a humanoid incarnation, called Hongjun Laozu.
Before the "Fengshen Yanyi", Hongjun referred to the taiping of the world, which first appeared in the Western Han Dynasty Wang Zhao's "Four Sons on Virtue", "Fu Hongjun's world, what is not happy?" Xu Zhonglin borrowed this word similar to Hongmeng to create a big god on his own, and there is no such god as Hongjun in orthodox Taoism.
Then, Xu Zhonglin also arranged: Hongjun Laozu had three major disciples: Daode Tianzun, Yuan Shi Tianzun, and Tongtian Sect Lord.
Among them, Daode Tianzun is the founder of Taoism, Lao Tzu, the Taishang Laojun in "Journey to the West"; Yuan Shi Tianzun is the leader of the Expository Sect; and the Master of the Tongtian Sect is the leader of the Intercepted Sect.
In fact, the exposition and interception of teachings were all fabricated by Xu Zhonglin in the "Fengshen Yanyi".
Xu Zhonglin also changed the Taoist "one qi and three qing" to the fen shen technique used by Lao Tzu, in fact, "one qi" is the qi of Hongmeng, which is transformed into the Yuqing Yuan Shi Tianzun, the Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun, and the Taiqing Daode Tianzun, which is the highest god of Taoism.
The belief in the "Three Qings" was developed in the 4th century AD and is a systematic reflection of the cosmology advocated by the Taoists.

The status of the YuanShi Tianzun in the Three Qing Dynasties is the highest, and he is the creator of the universe, and his full name is "Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun". In the General Book of Immortals of the Ages, it is said: "Yuan, Benye." The beginning, the first, the innate qi also. "It is said that the Queen Mother of the West was born to him. The Sui Shu Jing Shu Zhi IV states that he was "born before the Taiyuan Dynasty" and that "the body of the Heavenly Dignity is eternal, and every time the heavens and the earth are first opened, they are given the secret path, which is called the opening of the robbery of people... All the immortals are of the highest quality, including the Taishang Laojun, the Taishang Zhangren, the Emperor Zhenren, the Five Emperors of the Five Directions, and the Immortal Officials."
The second is the Lingbao Tianzun, whose full name is "One Qihua Sanqing Shangqing JuYu Yu Tianzhen Ascended to the QingJing Yuanqi, the Lingbao Junling Bao Tianzun Miao has a God". It is said that he was a disciple of Yuan Shi Tianzun and his name was also given by Yuan Shi Tianzun. Lingbao Tianzun holds a Taiji diagram or jade ruyi, symbolizing the second stage of "chaos begins to clear, yin and yang begin to divide". As for some people saying that Lingbao Tianzun was the Master of the Tongtian Sect, that was purely in cooperation with Xu Zhonglin in nonsense, and it didn't count.
The third is the Daode Tianzun, who is said to be the disciple of Lingbao Tianzun and is called "Taiqing Daode Tianzun". Again: Daode Tianzun, Lao Tzu, and Taishang Laojun are one god. Taishang Laojun was not a subordinate of the Jade Emperor, and his status was higher than that of the Jade Emperor. Du Guangting's "Notes on the Changqing JingJing of Taishang Laojun" said: "Taihe, Daye." The Lord, the Venerable. Gao Zhen Mo Xian, all saints are respected. Therefore, he is known as Taishang Laojun. The old man, Shou Ye, Ming Lao Jun repairs the heavens and the earth, naturally longevity, so it is known as the old man. Jun, honorific title also, Dao Qing de pole, so known as Junye. With Ming Laojun as the ancestor of all saints and the sect of the true gods, all things are controlled by Lao Jun, so they are the ancestors. "Simply put, Taishang Laojun is the supreme deity and refining ancestor who precedes heaven and earth and transcends life and death. Therefore, the production of Taishang Laojun must be an artifact.
Because Sanqing is the highest god of Taoism, all Taoist temples have Sanqing Halls.
In "Journey to the West", sun wukong in the Che Chi kingdom moved the statue of Sanqing to the hut with the eight precepts of the pig, and the three brothers also disguised themselves as Sanqing to enjoy the offerings, which was already quite a rebellious move.
