On October 15 and 16, 2021, the 25th Orthopedic Academic Conference of Henan Province and the Henan Provincial Orthopedic Science Popularization Ability Improvement Competition was held in Zhengzhou. Four doctors from Nanyang Orthopaedic Hospital stood out from nearly 100 contestants in the province and won the third prize and the excellent award respectively.
"Henan Orthopedics Academic Conference" is one of the most influential academic events in the field of orthopedics in the province, sponsored by the Henan Medical Association, the Orthopedic Branch of the Henan Provincial Medical Association, and hosted by the Henan Provincial People's Hospital, which has been held for 25 sessions so far, under the leadership of President Du Chunsheng of Nanyang Orthopaedic Hospital, Vice President Sun Gang and directors of various departments, a total of 33 medical staff participated in the conference, submitted 34 articles to the conference, and 7 comrades spoke on the spot.
This year is the first time that the conference held a science popularization ability improvement competition, the competition is for young doctors engaged in orthopedic posts in the province, aiming to improve the speech ability and science popularization ability of young doctors in Henan Province, create a warm atmosphere of popularization, love science and science popularization of young doctors in our province, improve the health literacy of the whole people in our province, and contribute to the construction of a healthy Central Plains. Six comrades from Nanyang Orthopaedic Hospital participated in the 2021 Orthopedic Young Physicians Standardized Treatment Surgery Video Medical Record Competition and the 2021 Henan Orthopedic Science Popularization Ability Improvement Competition, and competed on the same stage with a total of 79 provincial orthopedic elites from Henan Provincial People's Hospital, Zhengda First Affiliated Hospital, Henan Orthopaedic Hospital, Zhengzhou Orthopaedic Hospital, etc.
This conference carried out different forms of academic exchanges around the spine, joints, trauma, tumors, bone diseases and other specialties, and provided orthopedic physicians with a comprehensive academic experience from theory to practice.
Du Chunsheng, president of Nanyang Orthopedic Hospital, Bai Jinguang, chief expert, Li Ke, director of foot and ankle department, Wang Jianxin, director of pediatric orthopedic department, Shen Qian, director of pediatric orthopedic department, Chen Chunran, physician of trauma II, and Liu Zheng, nurse of joint department, respectively made academic reports on different topics at the conference. The wonderful academic views and concepts show the technical level and style of the orthopedic team of the hospital.
