Warner Music Group has partnered with Community, a messaging marketing platform. According to a statement "about social algorithm harassment, spam, and advertising," Warner will allow some artists to establish "personal connections" with fans through 10-digit Community numbers, sending exclusive messages, ticket sales, merchandise, and more.

Warner Music UK has partnered with music industry anti-racism groups Music Against Racism and The Rio Ferdinand Fundarion to raise awareness of racism and inequality in the UK.
During Black History Month (October to November), they will create workshops for young people and provide them with personal development programs, skills training, career guidance, mentoring, workshops, and workplace visits.

The shortlist for the 2021 Golden Sound Awards is announced. Sunset Flying Car, Flesh and Blood Juice Machine, Pai Xie Teenager, Shengxiang Band, Ma Nianxian, LINION, Sun Shengxi, ØZI, FORMOZA, wannasleep, Yufu, Teochew Earth Dog and so on are all shortlisted. The award ceremony will be held in Kaohsiung on November 6, and Ah Bang is the chairman of the jury. Entries for this year are those released between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021.

In the UK, companies with more than 250 employees are required to publish gender differences in average pay under the law. This year's deadline is October 5, and companies need to publish data as of April 5 of the previous year (gender difference in average salary = average income for female employees: average earnings for male employees, so this data is particularly affected by the difference in the number of men and women in high-paying positions).
The data shows that as of April 5, 2020, the average salary gender difference between the three major record labels was 282% - Universal Music was 29.2%; Sony Music was 254%; and Warner Music was 30%. Spotify was 153%; LiveNation was 34.3%.
