A few days ago, this reporter came to the Chengxiang Guest House in Chengxiang Town, Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu City, and saw a number of special exhibits "Party History Stamps" displayed here. "This is a stamp with the characteristics of our city box, and the character on the ticket is Peng Jiazhen, a martyr of the Xinhai Revolution, who is a member of the city box." Wu Weiguo, a 67-year-old volunteer interpreter of "Xiang Huai", wore a hearing aid to introduce the stamps to the audience.

Wu Weiguo told reporters that he was originally a retired worker in the Sichuan Steel Filing Factory, and as a backbone member of the "Xianghuai" old party member studio, he took the initiative to apply to become a docent of the theme exhibition "Party History in Stamps." In 1966, 12-year-old Wu Weiguo followed his parents who supported the construction of the third line to Chengxiang Town, and has since taken root in Chengxiang. As a veteran "stamp fan", in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Wu Weiguo carefully selected the "Party History Stamps" with distinct themes and far-reaching significance from his collection, and together with the backbone members of the old party member studio, compiled the "Party History in Stamps" stamp collection, and exhibited them in the City Chamber Free of Charge.

"I'm from Shanghai, but chengxiang is my home, I've lived here for most of my life, and I can't live without it." Wu Weiguo said, "Now that the ancient town is open, more and more people know about the city. Although I am retired, as long as I can hear and speak, I will continue to introduce more people to the city. ”

During this year's National Day holiday, Chengxiang Ancient Town received 110,000 tourists, and Wu Weiguo and other members of the "Xiang huai" volunteer interpretation team wore "red vests" to shuttle through all corners of the ancient town, telling tourists the "chengxiang story" full of fireworks.
