Leila Jeffreys, a photographer, was born in Papua New Guinea in 1972 to an Indian mother and an islander father, and in addition to her wildlife-rich birthplace, she has lived in a houseboat during the Kashmir War and an Indian village surrounded by buffalo, mongooses and monkeys, and now works and lives in Sydney. The picture shows the green-backed golden dove Emerald Dove

"The simple portrait photography on the set presents the birds' elegant, brilliantly colored feathers, from which you can get a glimpse of the different personalities of these birds, one is a solemn and serious appearance, and the other seems to show a cunning smile." "As a child, I was exposed to a lot of animals, and I saw them as the same creatures as me, and I developed a deep relationship with them. I want to remind you through these images that these little creatures share this planet with us, that they are like us running for food and livelihood every day, raising their children, defending their territory, playing and singing, and letting them have a wild home is our responsibility. ”
