The original form of the Yanshan worm, the body is oblong, about 120mm long, about 7mm wide, all composed of most links, from the neck plate to the anus, there are 54 body segments, 1 pair of antennae, about 5mm long, and 50 single eyes on each side of its base are assembled into a triangular shape, resembling a compound eye. The first section has no step limbs, the 2nd and 4th segments each have a pair of steps, from the 5th section to the segment, each section has 2 pairs of steps, each step limb has 6 segments, the end has claws, and the reproductive limbs are transformed from the 7th step limb. There are stink glandular holes on both sides of each segment of the 6th dorsal plate.
Habitat sub-ecological environment: mostly inhabits wet and shady areas.

Characteristic identification, this product is mostly semi-ring-shaped, the total length is 5-6mm, the diameter is 5-6mm. Pharmacological effect
1. Anti-tumor effect, Yanshan silkworm ether extract 0.15-0.50g/kg, alcohol extract 1.2-1.3g/kg, alcohol ether extract 0.2g/kg were injected into the mouse intraperitoneal cavity for 12-14d, respectively, which had a significant inhibitory effect on the growth of solid cervical cancer in mice. Alcohol ether extract also had a significant inhibitory effect on the growth of lewis lung cancer in mice. The three extracts also significantly inhibited the growth of ascites-type cervical cancer, ascites sarcoma S180, and AiWei ascites tumor in mice. The effect of alcohol ether extract is in the dose range of 0.05-0.2g/kg, which is enhanced with increasing dose. The dose of 0.2 g/kg can even completely block the formation of ascites-type cervical cancer and also significantly prolong the survival time of mice.
Yanshan lysate extract 0.2ml to the ascites type cervical cancer mice intraperitoneal injection once, within 1 hour can cause cancer cell membrane changes, resulting in nucleus lysis and cell collapse rats, lysis, but also significantly inhibit the cancer cell mitosis. This effect is strongest after administration 2 small and lasts more than 6 hours.
2. Toxicity, the LD50 injected intraperitoneally by Yanshan fennel ether extract to mice is 2.733+/-0.156g/kg. In the mouse subacute toxicity test, it was found that the liver wilt cells of the animals in the drug group were swollen, the liver sinuses were dilated, the liver cells were slightly atrophied, the degree of atrophy was slightly heavier with the increase of the dose, and the remaining indicators and blood picture were normal. No pathological changes were seen in the Canine Subacute Toxicity Test Center, liver, kidney and other organs.
