Extinct animals are those that have disappeared. In the 300 years from the 17th century to the end of the 20th century, it can be said that the world gradually moved from modern times to modern times. In these 300 years, people's civilization has developed rapidly, the times are progressing, and the earth is changing for us little by little. At the same time, in these 300 years, there are more than 300 kinds of beautiful animals on the earth, which will leave us forever.
Today, I have compiled the pre-life images and reasons for extinction of 10 extinct animals. If you have any views on this, please leave a comment in the comments section.
10 Tasmanian Tigers
The Tasmanian tiger is the largest carnivorous marsupial in modern times, although it has long since died out on the Australian continent. Although it hunts like a tiger and looks like a fox, they are more closely related to kangaroos. Like other marsupials, the mother has a pouch. It gives birth to immature juveniles, which develop in nursery bags and are nocturnal. In the past, European immigrants had no time to deal with them, so they offered local farmers a reward to hunt them. For this reason, Tasmanian tigers soon became extinct in the wild. Only one remains in captivity, and this video shows the last Tasmanian tiger. It died in 1936, and no trace of them has been found since. But there are some rumors that a small number of Tasmanian tigers have survived in the wild, some of which have been furned by wildlings.

9 Pyrenees goats
There were once 50,000 Pyrenees living in Europe, but by 1900 there were fewer than 100 left. By 1910, only 40 Pyrenees were still alive, and the number never grew again. They live in Spain and the southern part of France. But after the death of the last Pyrenees goat in 2000, the creature was declared extinct. Three years later the Pyrenees came back to life because they were successfully cloned. Using its skin cells, biologists cloned a neo-Pyrenees goat. But because of the weakening of the lungs, he only survived for 7 minutes. Of all the extinct animals, the extinct Pyrenees goat is the most special. Because the Pyrenees goat also became the first extinct species to be resurrected.
8 Pinta Island subspecies tortoises
The lonely turtle you see is the last Pinta Island subspecies tortoise on earth. Before its death, it was one of the rarest animals in the world. In 1971, it was found on an island and brought back to captivity because it was the only survivor of the species. Since then, no other Pinta Island subspecies of tortoises have been found. After its death, scientists were eager to clone it, but it has not been successful.
7 Whitefin Dolphin
I believe many Chinese friends know about this species , the white-tipped dolphin. The white-tipped dolphin is a pufferfish from China that lives in and around the Yangtze River. We're not quite sure if the white-tipped dolphin is extinct, but the last time we saw it was in 2002. Although they have been declared extinct, we still hope in our hearts that they will come back one day. In the past, when they were often seen, fishermen thought it was a good omen to see them, and considered the white-tipped dolphin to be a river god. Legend has it that she was a girl who wanted to escape her brutal father, who took her across the river by boat and wanted to sell her to others as slaves. But she jumped into the river halfway and transformed into a white-tipped dolphin, becoming a river god ever since. She created a storm that destroyed the ship and drowned her father. Since then, she has become the patron saint of the Yangtze River.
6 Hawaiian crows
The Hawaiian crow is a species of crow that lives in the forest. Its main food is lizards, seeds, insects, etc., and sometimes eats large butterflies. Hawaiian crows have become extinct in the wild, and all extant Hawaiian crows are artificially bred or raised. Multiple generations of inbreeding put their populations at risk, which means that a small environmental change can wipe out an entire race. Locals believe that the Hawaiian crow has magic and can channel spirits, and it can guide the dead.
5 Western Black Rhinoceros
The western black rhinoceros is one of the most recently extinct animals, declared extinct by the International Union for Conservation of Nature in 2011. The main culprits responsible for their extinction are poachers who steal rhino horns. These rhino horns can be sold on the black market, and Chinese medicine believes that rhino horns are ground into powder. Detoxify and strengthen the body. There are other legends that weapons made of rhino horn have magic that protects their holders. As a result, they were also hunted and used to create magical weapons for the people who fought in the African Civil War.
4 Leixian Island Buzzard
It sounds like a name for a certain position, but it's actually an extinct bird. It was born unable to fly, living only on a small Hawaiian island, and its natural enemy was not another bird, but a rabbit. In 1990, the rabbits that were introduced to the island ate all the food on the island. Due to the lack of food, the number of Buzzards on Lei Xian Island has dropped sharply. In 1903, when the rabbit was first introduced, there were thousands of birds on the island. However, during World War II, only traces of the last Leixian Island Buzzard were found. They lost their habitat due to the presence of hares, as well as World War II, which eventually led to extinction.
3 Female blackbirds
Female blackbirds, a gift to early North American colonists, were common and easy to hunt and kill, so they became food for the poor. But it also meant that their numbers had drastically decreased during nearly a hundred years of human colonization, with masters often letting servants eat female blackbirds. By 1874, there were no more female blackbirds on the American continent. By 1900, there were fewer than 100 female blackbirds in the world living on Marsa's Vineyard. But marsa vineyards could not save them either, as only one survived in 1928. After 1932, no one saw any female blackbirds.
2 Golden Toad
The golden toad's habitat occupies only 4,000 square kilometers of Costa Rica. Before extinction, they were common in this place. By 2007, they were officially declared extinct. It is difficult to say why they became extinct, and the case of the extinction of the golden toad has also been studied by many relevant scholars. It is generally believed that the main causes of the extinction of the golden toad are global warming and environmental pollution. It is also believed that golden toads are not extinct, they just live underground.
1 Spiks Macaw
Wild Spiks macaws are extinct, but a small number of captive Spiks macaws have survived. They used to be common in northern Brazil, but are now missing. In 1990, a male Spix macaw and a female Spix macaw were released. It is hoped that they will continue to breed and grow the race. Unfortunately, the female Spiks macaw hit a power line shortly after being released and electrocuted. According to research, one of the reasons for their extinction is the invasion of African killer bees. These ferocious creatures can even kill humans, and in the process of competing with African killer bees for habitat, the Spix macaw has little chance of winning.
The above is a collection of 10 extinct animals of the living images. I hope that our earth home is getting better and better, giving animals a quiet and safe living environment. If you have any views on this, you can leave a message in the comments section below.
