"The city is on the sea, the sea is in the city". Xiamen' sea garden is known as a must-visit for literary youth and student dogs. Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience it as a student.
In fact, I don't know what attracted me, Xiamen was listed on the travel list for a long time. Eight years ago, during the summer vacation of college, I was ready to make all kinds of preparations, and I should have made the trip, but for various reasons, I finally had to give up.

Xiamen, English name Amoyo, also known as Heron Island, is located in the southeast of Fujian Province, bordering Nan'an to the north and Kinmen and Dadan Island across the sea to the southeast. About the itinerary
Last year's Spring Festival went to Nanjing, there were many people, and at that time they vowed not to go out to crowd during the long holiday. However, seeing that the Spring Festival holiday was approaching, he was still not willing to spend time at home, so the trip to Xiamen that he had in mind was put on the agenda. I wanted to go to Xiamen for a long time, but I have not been able to make the trip, so I took the opportunity of the Spring Festival to meet my cousin's two sons and my younger cousin, and a group of five people came to a hurried trip to Xiamen.
Speaking of hurrying, it is because the third day of the first year of departure, only arranged a five-day trip. And we were on the train round trip, which took nearly 7 hours each way, and the return trip was still an early bus, so most of the two days were spent on the road, and the actual walk was only three full days. However, Xiamen is not large, three days to travel to the scenic spots, it is enough, compact, two days can also be done. But I still want to say that if you have time, avoid the long holiday, slow down the rhythm of life, and explore around, in order to taste the style and temperament of Xiamen.
On the last day, I only bought an early bus, and I was almost on the road for the first two days, which was hard!
About how to get to Xiamen
Xiamen is a sub-provincial city, a city listed separately in the national social and economic development plan, a special economic zone, an important central city, a port and a scenic tourism city on the southeast coast, and the development time is relatively early, so the traffic is extremely convenient and various ways are readily available.
The way we chose was to take the train, the arrival station is Xiamen North Railway Station, relatively far from xiamen main island, take the rapid bus BRT express, about 40-50 minutes to reach the ferry area where the hotel is located. Like most tourist cities, Xiamen has a well-developed bus system, which is very convenient to connect all corners of the city with buses, and is also the main choice for our transportation in the city. The subway is not available for the time being, it is being repaired, and the increase in construction sites has affected the integrity of the city.
Xiamen has an airport and three railway stations, as well as a bus station. Both the airport and the train station have direct access to the city or the ferry terminal with public transport options, which is very convenient. Xiamen North Railway Station is a station for trains and high-speed trains to reach Xiamen, not on the island of Xiamen, but in the Far Northwest Jimei District, but there are BRT rapid buses available, and it takes only 40-50 minutes to reach the downtown area.
Xiamen's airport is divided into T3 terminal and T4 terminal, located in the north of Xiamen Island, there are direct access to the city or ferry terminal public transportation options, very convenient. Ordinary cruise ships round-trip 35 yuan / person, luxury cruise ships round-trip 50 yuan / person, at present, only the route to The Inner Cuo'ao Pier has luxury passenger ships.
The route from Xiamen No.1 Pier to Gulangyu Island is a citizen line, don't run wrong. The route to Haicang Songgu Wharf is a public transportation line, 2 yuan / person one way.
Xiamen Ferry Terminal, at present, Hall 1 of the Wharf is a special line channel for residents, Hall 2 of the Wharf is a channel for the Ring Drum Route during the day, and a tourist passenger route channel at night.
