Since the beginning of this year, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Bureau has taken the comprehensive management of the farmers' market as a specific measure to carry out the practical activities of "I do practical things for the masses" in the study and education of party history, and the number one leader has taken the lead in fully promoting this "practical matter that warms the hearts of the people". As of the end of July, there were 4,706 farmers' markets in the province, of which 1,902 were included in the "Three-year Action Plan for the Comprehensive Management of Farmers' Markets in the Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Action Plan"). Since the launch of the "Action Plan" to the end of July this year, the province has completed the upgrading and transformation of 730 farmers' markets.

In terms of personnel management, Guangdong implements precise health control of employees, and strictly implements health management measures such as entering the site to scan codes, check registration, and body temperature detection. As of the end of July this year, a total of 26,549 people were employed in key places involved in imported cold chain food in Guangdong, and 100% of them had completed the full vaccination process.

In terms of the management of imported cold chain food, Guangdong has vigorously promoted the centralized supervision warehouse model of imported frozen products, and a total of 66 centralized supervision warehouses have been built in 21 prefectures and cities in the province, realizing "early prevention and advance movement of the gate" for imported frozen food, effectively playing the role of "first stop interception". As of the end of June, the province has carried out a total of 4.961 million cases of nucleic acid testing for the new coronavirus in imported cold chain food.

Comprehensively promote the upgrading of normalized prevention and control measures, and Guangdong has also formed a new version of the "1+2" prevention and control guidance document. At present, there are no cases of imported cold chain food and "material-to-human transmission" in key areas such as farmers' markets in the province, which has made positive contributions to the overall situation of epidemic prevention and control.

The people take food as the sky, and the farmers' market is related to the food safety of the people. Guangdong continues to strengthen the construction of food safety traceability system, strengthen the supervision of small food workshops in farmers' markets, and ensure food safety in farmers' markets. From January to June this year, the province inspected 9988 small food workshops, sampled 7758 batches, implemented rectification of 1096, and revoked 612 small food workshop registration certificates.
