Blue Hall Personal Experience: Wang Wenbin exposed the truth about the United States' preparations for the "Democracy Summit."

"Democracy is not Coca-Cola, the United States produces raw pulp, a taste of the whole world."

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying have both said this. At the foreign ministry's regular press conference just held, spokesman Wang Wenbin also quoted this sentence to expose the true intention of the United States to propose to hold a "leaders' democracy summit."

Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin presided over a regular press conference of the Foreign Ministry on the 19th. A reporter asked a question: In response to the US initiative to hold a "leaders' democratic summit," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recently said that the United States is bound to invite "democratic countries" that it has identified itself, in essence, using the Cold War mentality to divide the international community into the camp of enemies and ourselves. What is China's comment on this?

It is worth noting that the "democracy summit" is a meeting that Biden has been shouting about since he took office. The original name of the meeting was "Democracy Summit", suddenly renamed "Leaders' Democracy Summit", what is the reason behind it, and who you want to pull to participate, it is obvious.

Wang Wenbin said: I have noted relevant reports and believe that Foreign Minister Lavrov is very reasonable.

Democracy, he continued, is not a slogan. We should not borrow the aura of "democracy" to hide the problems in our own governance and allow our own people to pay a heavy price because of racial discrimination, social rift, and the division between the rich and the poor.

Nor is democracy dogmatic. Regardless of the vast differences in the history, culture, social system and development stage of the world, we should not try to turn democracy into Coca-Cola, one country produces the original pulp, and the whole world has a taste, depriving each country of the right and freedom to explore its own democratic path.

Democracy is not a cover for the promotion of hegemony, and it should not use ideology and values as a tool to suppress other countries and promote geostrategy under the banner of democracy, incite division and confrontation in the international arena, and push the world back to the dangerous Cold War era.

What is urgently needed in the world today is not to convene the so-called "democratic summit" or to establish any "democratic alliance", but to abide by the norms governing international relations based on the UN Charter, strengthen global coordination and cooperation, work together to cope with global challenges such as the epidemic and climate change, and jointly promote the cause of human progress.

If we stir up estrangement and division and incite confrontation under the banner of democracy, it will be a trampling on and betrayal of the spirit of democracy and democratic values, and will only bring turmoil and chaos to the world and undermine human peace and development. This is bound to be met with resistance and opposition from the international community.
