Against Preston in the League Cup, Takumi Minamino and Origi are expected to set new scoring records

Liverpool will face Preston away in the Midweek League Cup, and the team's official pre-match statistics on the match have been made.

Takushi Minamino scored twice in the third round of the League Cup, and if he can double against Preston, he will be the first Liverpool player to double in the League Cup after Fowler in 1996. Meanwhile, if Origi scores this game, he will tie Danny Murphy and become Liverpool's sixth-ever League Cup scorer, with the Belgian having scored 10 goals in the previous 14 games.

The match against Preston was the 70th meeting between the two sides, with the two teams last meeting in January 2009, when Liverpool won 2-0 in the third round of the FA Cup. In the 19 League Cup games commanded by Klopp, 73 players were used. The Reds have scored 41 goals in 13 games this season, including 30 in eight away games, and they have also scored 22 consecutive away goals and at least three goals in nine consecutive league or cup away games.
