Zhao Sicai
Zhao Sicai, 100 years old, has been in the party for 38 years.
A native of Xi'an, Shaanxi, he joined the Communist Party of China in 1983.
He joined the revolutionary work in 1949.
He retired in 1984 and now lives in Chang'an District, Xi'an.
Zhao Sicai officially joined the Communist Party of China in June 1983, the year he was 62 years old.
During the more than 30 years of inspection of joining the party, Zhao Sicai's determination and confidence in joining the party have never wavered.
At the end of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Zhao Sicai came into contact with the Communist Party and actively expressed to the underground party organizations his determination to follow the party and seek benefits for the suffering people of the world. In May 1949, Zhao Sicai was recommended as a trainee of the training class for young cadres of the Chang'an County (now Chang'an District) Committee of the Communist Party of China, and soon after applied to join the party.
"After the training course, I was assigned to the Chang'an County Government and later sent to Ningshan County." On June 14, the elderly Zhao Sicai, who had just passed his 100th birthday, recalled. For more than 30 years, Zhao Sicai was not approved to become a member of the Communist Party because of frequent adjustments in his work. But he did not complain about this, and he was still determined to follow the party, in his view, "this is the test of the party to me."
During his work in Ningshan County, Zhao Sicai actively played his strengths and made positive contributions to the development of local culture, and did not return to his hometown in Chang'an District, Xi'an until the age of 65. In June 1983, at the age of 62, Zhao Sicai officially joined the Communist Party of China.
After his wish to join the party was realized, he became more proactive in his work. Especially after returning to his hometown, Zhao Sicai devoted himself to the development of the characteristic folk art of Sipo Village and the provincial intangible cultural heritage project "Tim Saucer". Over the decades, he has not only mastered the production process, but also trained more than a dozen inheritors. In 2004, Zhao Sicai was selected as one of the 100 "Virtue and Art Double Xin" elderly people in Shaanxi.
