After a month of meticulous preparation, the second Korean Speaking Contest of the School of Software was held on the evening of December 27 in Room 306 of the School of Software.
The competition is held in the form of dubbing Korean dramas, through the understanding and interpretation of students, Korean oral expression and context display. The competition was kicked off by the running girls group "Kill Me Heal Me", Wang Yumiao showed the split personality of the male protagonist to the fullest, not only fluent language, funny humor, but also full of acting skills; "School 2015" showed everyone a story of twin sisters sharing identity being exposed, the role distribution between the team members was clear, the dubbing was smooth; the perfect mastery and presentation of large lines in "Lonely and Brilliant God: Ghosts", "Weightlifting Fairy Jin Fuzhu" Zhong's understanding of Korean humanistic culture, the warm interpretation of the characters and the sound of the tone in "The Strange Adventure of Man and Dog" were all recognized by the judges on the spot. The judges affirmed the professional standards shown by the students and hoped that they would continue to learn Korean and be ambassadors of cultural exchanges between China and South Korea. Finally, Zhang Xianrong, associate professor of the School of International Cultural Exchange and visiting professor of Suncheon University in South Korea, made professional comments on the language norms, contextual characteristics, tone and grammar of the Korean language as a representative of the judges, which combined with the characteristics of film and television dramas. Wang Xi, deputy secretary of the general party branch of the college, wrote a handwritten letter "One more language, one more ability to communicate with the world" as a deep message to the students.
After fierce competition, "Jin Fuzhu, a Weightlifting Goblin" brought by Ma Peiqi, Shen Xiaomiao and Wu Miaomiao won the first prize, "Lonely and Brilliant God: Ghosts" brought by Ma Yanbo, Gao Mingjian and Qi Zijing and "The Strange Adventure of Man and Dog" brought by Yu Shuxin, Liu Linwei and Sun Tingting won the second prize, "School 2015" brought by Qu Xiaoru, Zhao Lirong and Xiu Qiaoqi and "Kill Me Heal Me" brought by Wang Yumiao, Tian Mengwei and Chen Bing won the third prize.
During the competition, Feng Shaoyi, Li Ting and Qin Yinuo performed two Korean songs full of youth and vitality, which attracted the judges and teachers and students present to follow the rhythm of the beat, and the scene was a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
In recent years, the School of Software attaches great importance to the learning and promotion of the second foreign language, specially hired relevant teachers to start the second foreign language elective courses free of charge, students can choose to learn according to their interests, effectively promoting the construction of learning style, while broadening the employment field of students, enhancing the employability of students, and laying a language foundation for students to enter foreign-funded enterprises and study abroad.
