No. Yan Zhiqiang pointed to the Jinshi fruit tree and introduced that at present, Dujiangyan kiwifruit has realized the high pile replacement knot grafting technology, and the grafted branches can be quickly put on the shelves that year, forming the second year of fruiting mother branches. Under natural conditions, kiwifruit mainly relies on insect pollination, and artificial assisted pollination is also one of the important agricultural measures in orchards with abundant labor resources and fine management. A large number of artificial pollination practices show that the better the pollination, the more seeds there are in the fruit, the larger the fruit, and the better the quality.
In order to increase the fruit set rate, but also in order to prevent the invasion of germs and save costs, in 2019, Dujiangyan City also introduced Ruixiong male plants, and the current planting area has reached 2,000 mu, mainly concentrated in the chessboard community of Puyang Street.
