Ma Haishan, a resident of LVJING Jiayuan Community in Jimsar Town, Jimsar County, lost both legs due to a car accident in 2004 and could only rely on a wheelchair to move at home. His wife goes out to work during the day, he is often alone at home, he wants to cook, but the original kitchen facilities in the home are too high for him, the kitchen passage is relatively narrow, it is very inconvenient to enter and exit in a wheelchair, and cooking has become a problem. This time, the county disabled persons' federation helped him replace the kitchen counter at home as a whole, and also sent him a nursing bed to facilitate his daily life.

"After the kitchen was renovated, the space inside was large, the stove and the height of the board were also appropriate, and it was very convenient for me to cook and wash dishes, so that I could do some housework within my ability." The county disabled persons' federation also sent a nursing bed, which provided convenience for my life. I didn't want to get out of bed to eat, so I put a small table on the bed and ate on the bed; usually when I wanted to lean on a book, I shook the bed up, and when I wanted to lie down, I put the bed down. We are very grateful to the government for its concern for our disabled people. Ma Haishan said.
