Yesterday, Doctor Strange director Scott Drikson announced that due to creative differences, he decided to quit the production of Doctor Strange 2 and no longer serve as the director of the film.
This is not the first time that Marvel's directors have picked a pick. "Avengers 1 and 2" director Joss Whedon, "Thor 2" director Patti Jenkins, and "Ant-Man" director Edgar Wright have all parted ways with Marvel over "creative disagreements".
The question behind the scenes of Marvel movies also begins with Marvel's former CEO Ike Permatt.

The recent withdrawal of the director of "Doctor Strange 2" from Marvel is a relatively special case.
I believe that Marvel can still reconcile the director's creative freedom and the conflict between its own film framework.
