Recently, the China (Wuxi) Intellectual Property Protection Center Xuelang Town Workstation held an unveiling ceremony. Yu Wenxia, deputy director of Wuxi Municipal Market Supervision Bureau (Intellectual Property Office), and Feng Aidong, deputy director of the Management Committee of Wuxi Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, jointly inaugurated the workstation.
Xuelang Town Workstation is the first entity-operated branch of China (Wuxi) Intellectual Property Protection Center. Relying on the management center of Xuelang Town (Future Park), the workstation provides the venue and staff, and the Market Supervision Bureau (Intellectual Property Office) of Wuxi Economic Development Zone is responsible for business guidance, organizes intellectual property, legal and financial professionals to reside at the workstation, and carries out rapid collaborative protection of intellectual property rights for all kinds of innovative and entrepreneurial entities settled in the park.
The person in charge of the Intellectual Property Protection Department of the Wuxi Municipal Intellectual Property Office said that promoting the construction of branches of the intellectual property protection center and building an efficient and powerful rapid collaborative protection network for intellectual property rights is an important breakthrough in the high-quality development of active services for intellectual property work. When preparing to build the China (Wuxi) Intellectual Property Protection Center, the Wuxi Municipal Intellectual Property Office formulated and issued the Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of the Rapid Collaborative Protection System for Intellectual Property Rights, put forward the mandatory requirements for the substantive operation of branches, and made clear provisions on issues such as institutions, personnel and establishment. The unveiling of the Xuelang Town workstation is a useful practice of the above ideas. The person in charge said that the Wuxi Municipal Intellectual Property Office will further adhere to the direction of substantive operation, orderly promote the construction of a rapid and coordinated protection system for intellectual property rights, promote the extension of the intellectual property work network to the economic field, closely integrate with the industrial chain, and lay out at key nodes in the innovation chain.
