On the morning of September 27, the Seventh Congress of the Communist Party of China in Bao'an District, Shenzhen opened.
On behalf of the Sixth Committee of bao'an District of Shenzhen Municipality of the Communist Party of China, Wang Shourui delivered a report entitled "Seize the Opportunity of the Times, Lead the Development of the Bay Area, Build a World-Class Advanced Manufacturing Highland as the General Starting Point, and Strive to Build a Benchmark Urban Area of the Pioneering Demonstration Zone of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics." Adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, in accordance with the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee, the work deployment of the Provincial Party Committee and the work arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee, summarize the work of the past five years, deploy the tasks for the next five years, mobilize the whole region to keep in mind the original mission, strengthen ideals and beliefs, blaze new trails, forge ahead, take the construction of a world-class advanced manufacturing highland as the general starting point, strive to build a benchmark urban area for the Socialist Pilot Demonstration Zone with Chinese Characteristics, and make greater contributions to the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Zone.
The Seventh District Party Congress shall be attended by 330 delegates, and the actual number of delegates to the congress shall be 323, which shall meet the prescribed number.
