According to the official resume, Chu Xianghao was born in November 1968 and traveled through Anhui, Qinghai, Shanxi and other places. After graduating from Tongji University with a master's degree in 1996, Chu Xianghao entered the Propaganda Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and successively served as deputy director of the Theory Department, chief section member, deputy director, in 2005 he was appointed director of the Comprehensive Division of the Civilization Office of Anhui Province, and in 2007 he was appointed director of the Research Office of the Propaganda Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee.
In March 2010, Chu Xianghao was transferred across provinces to be the deputy director of the Development Research Center of the Qinghai Provincial Government, and later the deputy director of the Qinghai Provincial Government Research Office, and in 2013, he was appointed deputy secretary general of the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee and director of the Provincial Political Research Office.
