1. Gabriel and the Devil:
Griffin Navier clearly represents the devil. It is very obvious in the play.
And the fat grandson Gabriel, the archangel, the enemy of the devil, this obviously has a very clear meaning of the name, that is, to punish the devil and appear.
But will the archangel punish the devil by killing innocent people? So what is the difference between this act and the devil?
2) Will Gabriel's plan to bring Griffin to justice?
In fact, careful consideration, the validity of all the evidence is worth scrutinizing.
First, the motive for the killing. From the perspective of the play, Griffin and his wife are still very close, at least from the perspective of the play, Griffin has no motive to kill his wife.

The previous two points have shown that whether it is from the setting of Gabriel Archangel or from the deductibility of the current evidence, it is doubtful whether Gabriel's murderous and evil trick can meet expectations.
But what if Gabriel hadn't killed anyone at all.

The fact that Griffin's wife was killed was only learned from the police. And the policeman's name is interesting, called Philip Hewson.
And when Griffin's wife explained "Mount Weser" to him, the example given was Philip.
The very interesting "coincidence" is not well, the names of the people who appear in the play add up to less than 5, do you believe it?
