Barbie and Hunter were two popular characters, but they left the team in the third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. due to plans to develop a spin-off series of the two, "The Most Wanted".

By 2016, they had abandoned the show altogether. The spin-off drama did not work out, and Barbie and Hunter were not able to return to the Aegis residency.
