  The film is the work of Spanish national treasure director Luis Buñuel, whose film "A Dog of Andalus" is the foundational work of surrealist, and the film caused a strong sensation in Paris.   Synopsis:

  Villitiana (Silvia Pinal), who has been practicing in the Sisters' Church for many years, is about to swear an oath, Grandma suggests that she visit her patron uncle Haimai before the ceremony, Villitiana goes to her uncle's mansion in the countryside, and Haimai is emotional because she resembles his wife, Viliana is about to return to the Nuns after a short stay, on the eve of her departure, Haimai asks her to put on her wife's wedding dress and proposes to Villidiana, and after being rejected, instructs the maid to anesthetize her with medicine.

  The next day Haymai commits suicide, Villitiana returns to the mansion and decides to stay, Marc's illegitimate son Jose (Francisco Rabal) and his girlfriend also come to the mansion and immediately hire someone to rebuild the barren fields, while Villitiana invites some tramps to share the mansion with the sick beggars, and Villidiana takes care of their lives, leading them to prayerful prayers, trying to provide them with god's help.   About the director: Luis Buñuel

  Luis Buñuel was born in the town of Calanda, Teruel, Spain. In 1920, Buñuel founded Spain's first film club. In 1924, Buñuel emigrated in Paris as an assistant to the French avant-garde director Jean Epstein, where he studied at the film school he founded. In 1928, he collaborated with the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí to shoot the film "An Andalus Dog", which was the foundation of Surrealism and caused a strong sensation in Paris. Following "A Dog of Andalus," Buñuel made The Golden Age, which explores a series of major themes such as sex, religion, love, and war, with strong irony and metaphor that keep the film banned. A Dog of Andalus and The Golden Age became the mother of Buñuel's later films and the insurmountable pinnacle of surrealist cinema.
