There was a nationwide power outage in Lebanon
Nowadays, various countries have become more and more modern, in social work, daily residents' lives, need to use a lot of modern equipment, and these equipment are often inseparable from a resource, that is, electricity. Therefore, electricity has become an indispensable part of modern society, and it should be unimaginable for people to live without electricity supply. In Lebanon, however, two large power plants have now fallen into darkness, and two large power plants have temporarily stopped supplying external power, which has directly led to the turmoil of the country's power grid, which has caused nationwide blackouts.
In the past two years, Lebanon's economic situation has declined significantly, and life has become very difficult for the population, as the currency has depreciated significantly and foreign fuel imports have encountered major obstacles. It is also during this period of time that residents only have about two hours a day to enjoy the convenience of electricity. This was already a very sad thing, but what I didn't expect was that more pain was still to come, and the impact of the nationwide power outage on the work of the country and the lives of residents was unimaginable. The country is currently trying to find ways to import fuel from other countries in order to be able to quickly resolve the crisis.
The West is in an electricity shortage
In addition, European countries are also deeply involved in the energy crisis, and the electricity prices of various countries have risen sharply, which has a lot to do with the rise in the price of natural gas. Winters in Europe are very cold, especially in the cold winters that have just passed, and the inhabitants of these countries need to rely on natural gas to heat them, which makes the demand for natural gas in these countries continue to rise, which triggers a rise in prices. In addition, countries are now more concerned about climate issues, and the original use of coal power generation has been banned by natural gas power generation, in such a situation, the rise in natural gas prices will promote the rise of electricity.
China implements power curtailment
Of course, there are still many countries that will still use coal to generate electricity, such as some of the above Western countries, as well as China, after all, reducing carbon emissions is not a one-time thing. However, in recent years, the price of coal has also continued to soar, in order to prevent people from causing greater pressure on life, many regions in China have also begun to cut the power policy. In fact, at the beginning, only the industrial electricity and commercial electricity consumption were restricted, but in the northeast region, the type and quantity of industry are not very many, if only the industrial and commercial electricity is restricted, it is not enough, so it has to choose to continue to restrict the use of electricity by residents. At the same time, although some other areas in the country also restrict the use of electricity, most of them are still concentrated in industrial and commercial electricity.
