Although this is an action series, the plot is interspersed with many political elements. 2007's "Elite Force" is known for exposing the political darkness within the police, while 2010's "Elite Force 2: The Great Enemy Current" has become a political film in which the literary drama occupies an absolute length.
Lieutenant Colonel Robert Nascimito, the leader of the elite BOPE force, had a broken relationship with his wife Rosa shortly after the birth of his son Rafa and eventually divorced. Rosa took Rafa to marry state legislator Thiago Flaga.
Flaga, a civil rights defender, called for gentle treatment of drug dealers in Rio de Janeiro, touching them with affection and giving them a chance to reform.
During a riot in The Prison of Lasio, the leader of the Crimson Regiment, Bellada, shot and killed the leader of his rival Brotherhood, and Fraga rushed to the scene to negotiate with him, but was kidnapped by him. BOPE Captain Andrew Matthias found the right moment to shoot him in the head.
This angered Flaga, who believed he had taken control of the situation, while Nacimento allowed his men Matthias to kill innocents. In front of the media, he accused BOPE of turning the rescue operation into a massacre.
There was always someone to blame for the affair, but Nacimito, protected by Governor Galino, was removed from BOPE and promoted to deputy secretary-general of the Intelligence Department of the Security Service, responsible for eavesdropping on all communications in Rio. Matthias, who shot and killed, was transferred to the Self-Defense Forces and became the subordinates of the corrupt police officers Fabio and Rocca.
Through the ups and downs of his life, Naximto became more and more courageous in the Vietnam War, and he used his position in the Security Service to continue to manage BOPE, expanding it into a super team with 390 police officers, 16 tactical teams, armored vehicles and helicopters.
With this powerful armed force, Nasciento led BOPE to launch a siege against rio drug dealers.
Nasciento's plan was to destroy Rio's illegal drug trade and underworld forces, and then to strike their umbrella, the corrupt police. When the drug dealers are finished, the demise of corrupt police officers is just around the corner.
However, the ideal is very full, and the reality is very bone. What Nasciento did not expect was that the demise of drug dealers would only allow corrupt policemen to extend their claws to the civilians in the slums, and it would be much more difficult to get rid of the corrupt police in the system than to get rid of the drug dealers in the slums.
Self-Defense Force police, led by Rocca, went to the slums to exploit civilians because the drug dealers were eliminated and cut off from money. Daily necessities such as drinking water, gas, internet access, cable TV, and loans are all taxed by him.
They soon discovered that it was faster to draw taxes from civilians than money from drug dealers. And once these policemen become snakes, their methods are more ferocious than those of the little, and if they do not cooperate slightly, they will immediately be killed.
Even in broad daylight, the police dared to prey on civilians.
The reason why Rocca dared to be so arrogant was because he had already colluded with Governor Galeino, the federal parliamentarian and secretary general of the Security Service, Guarasi, and the parliamentarian Fortunado, and they formed an alliance with the intention of manipulating rio's black and white and being the earth emperor with one hand covering the sky.
Rocca even had SDF police officers disguised as bandits rush into the police station to snatch police firearms, in order to blame drug dealers in the Tunkai slum in the western region. With control of Tankai, the governor could grasp the votes of the entire western region and gain political superiority.
Rocca then used the power of the governor to transfer Matthias back to BOPE, and ordered him to lead a team to join the Self-Defense Forces in Tankai to eliminate the drug dealers and underworld forces hidden in it.
However, Matthias clashed with Rocca because he was bent on finding the police station's missing gun, and was shot by his subordinate Marek.
Because Roca had taken control of the entire western region, all the truth was covered up. But there are always people with righteous hearts in this world, and the female journalist Clara Wido and the CPI investigation of state legislator Fraga will join forces to find the truth.
However, Clara makes a low-level mistake, she finds Roca's lair and gathers evidence of Roca's collusion with the governor, but is caught by Roca and killed.
The recording of Clara's phone call with Flaga before her death became the only evidence against Rocca and Governor Galino and others. Nasciento intercepted the recording of the call, and this time he was going to join forces with Flaga, the person he hated the most, to clean up the outlaws in the government.
In the end, Naciento and Flaga will take to the national court with the CPI investigation, and Nacimento exposes all corruption within the police and government to the public.
Nacimito used the weapon of the law to crush many people in one fell swoop, sending corrupt officials to prison.
The police, led by Rocca, were silenced.
But Nacimento called it the largest cover-up in Rio's history. The system was reorganized, the out-of-power officials were purged, and a new leadership was replaced, and this corrupt class still existed.
At the end of the film, the arrow points directly to the Brazilian political system, believing that all crimes are related to the current system, such a bold film can be released, and refresh the Brazilian film box office record, reaching a staggering number of 102.6 million reais (about 400 million yuan), people can't help but lament that the relaxed environment is really not to be underestimated in the development of the film.
