Duffy Sheridan (1947) is a realistic realist painter

American painter Duffy Sheridan loved to paint since childhood. His father, also an artist, encouraged him to learn to paint anything. He traveled the world and dedicated his artistic life to the discovery and expression of the beauty he saw.

Although he and his family lived in relative seclusion for years in far-flung corners of the world, Sheridan's work attracted the attention of collectors on five continents.

Since returning to the United States in 1991, his work has received international acclaim and has been designated a living master by the Center for The Revival of the Arts.

His paintings can be found in prestigious institutions, from cathedrals in the South Pacific to the U.S. Air Force Academy, from corporate headquarters in Manhattan to the private homes of kings, judges, bishops, doctors, and collectors around the world.

For 35 years, the teachings of the Baha'i have been a major influence on Sheridan's life and work, and have dominated the balance of craft and artistic expression he constantly sought, which was able to elevate the cognitive state of mankind to some extent.

Sheridan felt that he could appreciate the richness of human beings and believed that the purpose of his work was to "magnify the human spirit and dignity, and to magnify the strange beauty of all things"
